Harry Mehre, Managing Broker

Harry Mehre is the founder and managing broker of Position RE, a company which was established to pursue meaningful and lasting client relationships around the delivery of real estate services with a special emphasis on land. With a stated goal of increasing the acceptance of and demand for direct land ownership, Harry is responsible for client development and day to day service delivery for all Position RE activities.

Over the past twenty-five years, Harry has built a career around a diverse background of real estate activities all with one common factor – partnering with clients to provide outstanding service and results. Prior to forming Position RE, Harry spent ten years with Jones Lang LaSalle in roles of increasing magnitude and complexity. From providing consulting and advisory services to multi-national corporate occupiers to operating large scale disposition programs for portfolio owners. Harry has the advantage of having worked with some of the world’s largest and best run companies. He developed experience across a broad spectrum of disciplines including commercial mortgage finance, facilities/property management, project management, lease administration, site selection and brokerage.

Harry is a native Atlantan and is proud to make a home with his wife and children in the same community in which he grew up, Sandy Springs. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and the University of Georgia and is a licensed broker in Georgia, Iowa and Montana.


Justin Bates, VP - Development

Justin Bates is the Vice President of Development at Position RE. Justin’s work at PositionRE has focused on helping clients understand their rural real estate portfolios in support of improving revenue from dispositions, providing enhanced due diligence during major acquisitions, and bringing creative, strategic assistance ahead of significant decisions. Clients from small family offices to major corporations rely on Justin for his strategic thinking and reliable delivery of actionable, data-driven solutions.

Justin began his career in 2002 in the Strategic Consulting practice at Jones Lang LaSalle, an integrated global real estate services firm with offices in 80 countries. During his nearly two decades at the firm, Justin provided diligent service to clients through several business cycles, including robust bullish real estate markets and times of uncertainty and correction. These clients included international banking institutions, major publicly-traded corporations, and the United States government. Land, specifically the opportunity that a use change brings to land, was the most common subject of his efforts at Jones Lang LaSalle. Justin’s most notable client engagement related to his current work at PositionRE included several multi-year stretches working in different roles for a major national institutional landowner. Justin devoted 15 years of service, in total, as an outsourced partner for this client, including responsibilities as a regional manager for two regions, a process and systems consultant and stakeholder working on several technology projects, and the account and team manager responsible for the outsourced national program.
